Meet Mira
Mira popped out of my pen in spring 2014. She is ever-curious, joy spreading representation of an inner child who always makes us feel better and thus creates miracles with her presence.
Mostly Mira is joyful and like a child wonders about life. She easily feels awe and joy, and follows her heart wherever she leads her.
The drama of her life builds up around her choice: Will she choose what her ego tells her to or will she follow her heart?
But now, let us have Mira tell us something about herself and introduce herself properly…
Hi Mira! So nice to have you here with us. Can you tell us something about yourself…
Hi! This is a fun opportunity! Sooo, I’m Mira. I like to jump in puddles and dance in the rain. I like when my heart calls my name and am curious to take in the lessons of life. I’m now four years old and have appeared in drawings called Mira(cle)doodles created by Elina Puohiniemi, an artist from Finland, I call her E by the way.
I am very transparent in what I do, because you can observe my heart and my ego (the lizard) do their things to make my life more interesting.
I guess that serves a great purpose too, because everyone has those two forces of human nature in their life in this constant dance.
How much is there Elina in you? Who are you?
Hmmm… That’s a little bit harder to answer. E says I’m a fictional character, a representation of an inner child. But I don’t think she’s very clear on whose inner child I am. She herself was more of an observer as a child, liked to climb up in trees and sit there for hours looking at people walking by or imagine her life away.
I like to hop and dance and sing a little song once in a while. I like to take action and go for it and turn every stone.
I think without me she could easily turn into a pine tree, standing there on her spot and just look at life go by. I give her more action and bring amazing people in her life.
But I think she’s not making me up, I just appear to her when I like, and I have liked to do that a lot.
Why did you appear in the first place?
E was so clueless with her studies and so open to receive and channel creativity through her pen on paper. I just saw the opportunity to come out and play! I’m happy she has stayed there with me and we have been able to spread joy to the world together for four years already.
What is your purpose?
Like I said above – I like to bring joy to the world, and ease. Life isn’t so serious and hard. It’s more like a game we play that we can’t lose.
Why can’t we lose?
Well, because everything we do and don’t do teaches the Universe and thus it’s so valuable.
What are your favorite highlights from the past four years?
My favorite was when E had her group called “Mira(cle)Doodles” in Facebook and shared her creativity and deeper stories behind the doodles she drew in there, I sometimes popped in the minds of those people too! I loved it! I love it when we co-create and it’s more collective. I like freedom and no rules – So I just flow through life (and E’s pen).
Another highlight for me has been the opportunity to help visualize other people’s dreams when E creates DreamDoodles for them. I’m so happy that by coloring me (or their inner child actually which I’m there to point out) they’ve gotten their dreams fulfilled more easily.
Where are you going?
I believe I’m here to stay. Sometimes I’m quieter you know, everyone needs some peace and quiet sometimes and that’s okay. Then I again surprise E by popping around a corner of her eye when she’s least expecting and make her hurry up and find her notebook or something to record my appearance with. She’s funny, she thinks it’s so important to capture everything and draw it down.
I like to take life as it is and comes – That’s when it stays fresh and ever evolving. So I’m open to the future and infinite possibilities.
What is your dream?
E sometimes dreams of creating more books or even a movie about me. But I haven’t rushed her in that direction. Just read my ego’s interview when it comes out and you’ll see that it’s not that straightforward to fulfill every dream an artist has (I personally believe E’s ego is more intertwined with that lizard of mine than I am with her inner child, but that’s okay. I’m happy to borrow my ego for her if it helps her release her grip on hers).
My dream for me is to be available for E whenever she needs me and asks for my assistance.
I think that’s enough already, but I must say that any adventure she will take on – I’ll be in for it gladly (Escpecially if it has something to do with a larger group of humans)!
Your motto
Stay open to the miracle of life.
