This doodle illustrates a little story I got from a fellow A Course in Miracles student. She had sat in meditation when Mira & her heart had popped in!

Here’s what she said:

“I was standing at the edge of deep Region inside of me where I had been drained for a long time. The drainage is over but there was this deep empty abyss. And out of the blue suddenly Mira stood there with me and the little heart that’s always accompanying her. They were looking together with me inside this deep blackness. Then Mira said to me: “There’s hope“.”

She then saw the heart fill it in, until there was no emptiness and darkness left.
“It was moving and amazing. You see what gift your drawings are? Thank you!”

I sat there with her and saw the whole picture, and Mira continued the story in my mind, and that’s how this doodle was born.

She wanted to say that ultimately we are whole, and have always been.The abyss is ego’s making. So instead of filling up the void, which there never was to begin with, but ego wants us to believe that we are broken, heart pokes holes in the ego’s painting (the one that colors our life grey and makes us feel empty inside), and lets the light in from these holes that hope made.

And now Mira stands in light again.
