Here you’ll find some notes I wrote when doodling through #Inktober2022 in October 2022 inspired by Jake Parker’s #Inktober2022 daily prompts.
#Inktober2022 • Day 31
Farm
What kind of thoughts are you farming in your mind?
“See, I’ve got new seeds for loving thoughts for you here!” exclaims the heart.
Plant the seeds of happiness today, and let them grow and flourish!
#Inktober2022 • Day 30
Gear
Mira’s search for miracles isn’t going as she had planned…
“You are so funny!” her next miracle laughs, “All you need is to ask!”
#Inktober2022 • Day 29
Uh-oh
“Uh-oh,” the ego cries out quietly, “I’m in trouble…”
#Inktober2022 • Day 28
Camping
“This is where I found you, so this is where I’ll stay. I don’t want to lose you again!” Mira says while setting up her tent.
“Well, you know, I’ll go with you wherever you go! I always have,” her heart tries to tell her.
But does Mira listen?
#Inktober2022 • Day 27
Snack
Lean back and enjoy.
The best moment of your life is rolling right now!
#Inktober2022 • Day 26
Ego
“Hooorraaaay, a full day JUST for ME!” the ego celebrates.
Oh no, indeed, what would our day be like if we gave our full attention to the ego…
#Inktober2022 • Day 25
Tempting
Mira has got some other plans, and isn’t tricked by the ego’s tempting attempts…
#Inktober2022 • Day 24
Fairy
The ego yearns for a fairytale ending, but the heart is happy in the moment.
That’s the only moment we have anyway!
#Inktober2022 • Day 23
Booger
It’s okay to be you! You are loved—Even if you eat your boogers.
This is for all of you who have the tendency to eat your boogers, it’s okay, studies show that 5 % of people do it instinctively, and pretty much can’t help it. This is just one of nature’s mysteries.
#Inktober2022 • Day 22
Heist
“Give me your time, money and happiness, or else…,” the ego cries out.
If it was this obvious, would you keep allowing the ego to rob you your happiness?
In which sneaky ways are you robbing your happiness from yourself?
#Inktober2022 • Day 21
Bad Dog
When we nurture others at the cost of our own wellbeing, we might need a stop sign to warn others at some point…
#Inktober2022 • Day 20
Bluff
“You’re bluffing! I don’t believe for a second that you could pull that off. You’ll be back, pretty soon!” the ego exclaims.
I think I’m off… For good!
#Inktober2022 • Day 19
Ponytail
I have faked being mightier than I feel for a long time now… “So, how is it going for you, my dear mini-me? Are you feeling bigger, braver and better already? Or shall I keep on pretending that I can do this?”
When was the last time you truly listened to your inner child?
#Inktober2022 • Day 18
Scrape
With the ego I’m barely making it. Life doesn’t flow, I’m creatively stuck, and I never feel like I’ve got enough or do enough.
Whereas with Love abundance of all the things I yearn to have—creativity, joy, and even more love and happiness—is the default. Abundance flows freely.
I think the choice is pretty clear: JUMP!
#Inktober2022 • Day 17
Salty
The ego always finds a way to justify negativity—Even if it truly is unreasonable.
#Inktober2022 • Day 16
Fowl
Have all your ducks in a row—With Love.
#Inktober2022 • Day 15
Armadillo
A lesson from an armadillo…
“Your strength comes from within, you’ve got all you need,” says the armadillo.
#Inktober2022 • Day 14
Empty
Have your hands empty, have zero expectations, and an open mind.
That’s when you have plenty of room for Love to fill you up!
Be ready to receive!
#Inktober2022 • Day 13
Kind
“Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.” – Dalai Lama
You have so much Love to share and give away, keep Loving, keep giving. Be kind.
It always comes back to you.
#Inktober2022 • Day 12
Forget
#Inktober2022 • Day 11
Eagle
“It’s time to gain some perspective,” thinks Mira and asks her friend, the eagle, to give her a ride.
How about stepping back and looking at the bigger picture—It’s quite beautiful, isn’t it?
#Inktober2022 • Day 10
Crabby
The ego gets all crabby when Mira tries to expand and reach towards her next miracle.
#Inktober2022 • Day 9
Nest
“Are you comfortable now?” Mira asks her heart.
Mira has been nesting for a while to welcome more Love in—it looks like it’s working!
Love is here to stay!
#Inktober2022 • Day 8
Match
When you meet each other at the soul level, it’s a match every single time—With anyone!
#Inktober2022 • Day 7
Trip
The moment you realize you’ve been traveling with the ego as your companion for long enough—again.
It’s funny how these detours just happen—they always seem to surprise you afterwards!
How did I allow it to happen again!?
#Inktober2022 • Day 6
Bouquet
Not even in its wildest dreams would the ego believe that one is better than more. Never.
When was the last time you took in the beauty of nature with all your senses?
It’s lovely—It’s enough.
#Inktober2022 • Day 5
Flame
When a spark of hope bursts into flames of inspiration, magic happens!
Where do you find hope right now?
#Inktober2022 • Day 4
Scallop
Once again Mira dives deep.
She longs to understand deeper meanings, and doesn’t rest until she finds it—A pearl of wisdom within her every experience.
#Inktober2022 • Day 3
Bat
Based on a true story
A bat once almost hit me in the face at full speed.
The terrified look on its face before it made a quick turn upward right before my nose and avoided collision has burnt in my mind forever.
I hope it caught the insect it was hunting…
#Inktober2022 • Day 2
Scurry
When you keep choosing Love and it shines bright in you, the ego scurries away. It no longer feels welcome.
#Inktober2022 • Day 1
Gargoyle
What if gargoyles could have a day of rest from being so scary?
The Mira(cle)doodles are something I’ve been drawing since 2014.
