The same spring I started school visits and drew coloring pictures for dozens of classes based on what the children wanted me to draw.
They were a spontaneous live drawing performances, which always surprised with how many benefits they brought to the group: developing stronger bonds and teamwork, expanding imagination, making everyone feel seen and heard etc… Everyone had their own characters colored by all the other kids in the class.
I also celebrated the seasons and holidays drawing new coloring pictures for each almost every year.
Altogether I drew around 100 coloring pictures in total!
Each picture had typically at least 25 characters in them, and they were filled with action. So much FUN!
One of the highlights on this journey was to create a coloring picture for the official Finland 100 years celebration together with a class of third graders.
The resulting A3 sized coloring picture was available for download, and was colored by over 2400 Finns!
I enjoyed the journey with all my heart and I’m forever grateful for all the 800+ kids I worked with and the thousands of children who has colored my coloring pictures.
Thank you
